Pakistan cricket faced a disaster when some of its top players were banned for life today. Pakistan criket board announced that because of the poorest performance in Australia in the last season. It was because of the showing misconduct and creating disunity in the team. Mohammad Yousuf and Younus Khan were suspended indefinitely from playing national cricket.

Other player who were fined are Kamran Akmal is fined Rs 30 lac rupees (3 million) while Umar Akmal is fined Rs 20 lac rupees (2 million) for showing misconduct. Shoaib Malik and Rana Naveed have also been fined Rs 20 lac rupees (2 million) each and a ban for one year. Shahid Afridi is also fined 30 Lac rupees (3 million) for ball tempering issue.

The top player like Mohammed Yousaf and Yunus Khan have been banned because of lack of sincerity for cricket. For this particular reason Pakistan lost 3 tests, 5 onedays and 1 t20 match in Australia in 2010.

A strong earth quake hit the country today. It is learnt that this earth quake has devastated three villages while killing at least 51 people. There are a lots of people who are still missing even after 12 hours of rescue operations. It is reported that 35 people are taken to the hospital with injuries. It is also expected that the death toll may rise upto 100 people. The village which is badly hit by this 5.9 magnitude of earthquake is Okcular where 15 people were found dead out of 900 population. Rescue operation are still underway to save the people who are alive under the rubble.

A plane has been crashed in Hyderabad after the inaugration of Indian Aviation summit. The aircraft, an HJT-16 Kiran MK-II trainer plane, was part of a navy contingent, whose aerobatics team was called Sagar Pawan. The aircraft was built by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). After a dive formation, the 4 planes in the aerobatics team, were leveling out in different direction, and that is when this aircraft made a fatal nose-dive.

The plane crash happened between 11:30am and 11:45am. The Government Of India press release confirms that the pilots, Commander SK Maurya and Lieutenant Commander Rahul Nair were both killed in the crash. Both pilots were based at Goa.
